I’ve finally finished the piece I started at IMC back in June

I’ve finally finished the piece I started at IMC back in June. It’s the most emotionally driven and personal work I’ve ever created and, well… this is my divorce painting.
The title is “Metanoia,” it measures 18″x24″ and was painted in watercolor followed by acrylic glazing and then acryla gouache, and more glazing.
My experience in building this piece lead to some huge epiphanies about myself, my work, and my journey. This is the first painting in a long time that I don’t want to sell (but I need to, haha). However, if you’re coming to @dragoncon, you can view this piece in person at the art show!
I’m hoping to blog about the process and what this piece means to me soon.
