“I spotted a Grizzly bear sow with 4 cubs sitting on the shore line of a lake in #Alaska. The sow decided she wanted a swim and took to the water heading along the shore to my left, parallel to the shoreline. I figured that the 4 cubs would follow mom along the shoreline in the shallow water so I grabbed my equipment (including Canon 800mm lens and heavy tripod) and ran to my left a good way (staying in the woods) to get ahead of the cubs hoping to catch them all coming towards me in the water. I got the shot I wanted and quickly exited from the scene as mom decided her swim was over and I was between her and the cubs. Love the eye contact with the largest cub second from the left.” #MyCanonStory
