cookies for breakfast? ♀️ made these deliciously chunky @missfitsnutrition VANILLA DATE OAT cookies yesterday ❤ probs high in everythaaaaang but we’ll get over it ’cause they’re oh so yum
who likes to bake on weekends? if you don’t have all the ingredients, get creative & use this as inspiration you could use flour instead of protein, make an egg substitue, have nuts or seeds instead of dates, swap coconut oil for butter!
top tip I sometimes half recipes & make a smaller batch first to see how I get on.. there’s nothing worse than using a load of ingredients, it turning out a disaster & it ends up in the bin #lovefoodhatewaste so try halving them!
100 g oats
90 g @missfitsnutrition vanilla
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
1 c agave syrup
1/4 c dried chopped dates
preheat oven gas mark 4 / 350 F • mix together the oats, protein, baking powder, cinnamon & salt • in a seperate bowl mix together the coconut oil, egg, vanilla paste.. then add the agave • combine the mixtures together & finish with mixing in the dates • spoon the mix onto a baking tray & bake for about 15 mins / until they’re golden.
they’ll look like they need longer but when they’re cooling they’ll firm up & over cooking them will make them dry. I got 12 big cookies but you could easily make them smaller & get double ☺ finish with @meridianfoods pb drizZzZzle.
